I am often asked what the process is for booking your wedding or event with Botanica. Today on the journal I would like to share the steps in which I go through to ensure the floral design for your event is a real reflection of you and compliments your event space.
Step One | Get in touch
The first step for any couple interested in my service is to get in touch. I am available via email, facebook and instagram as well as the contact page of this website. My preference however is for all couples to fill my consultation form to give me a better idea of their plans.
Step Two | Consultation
Once I have confirmed I am available for your date we will organise a time for a consultation. It is not compulsory for all couples to meet me in person however I find it is the best way to get to know each other and for you to see whether I will be a good fit for your day. The consult will be about an hour long and each details of your day will be discussed. Through this process I will make notes to assist my quoting.
Step Three | Quote
The first quote I put together for you is what I like to call the "Dream Quote." Based on our consult I will put together all the details of your day in an itemised quote. I like to break down the quote in to items so you can clearly see where each cost lies. Details like colour, varieties and finishings are included and the written quote is complimented by an inspiration document of images so there is no confusion on the style or aesthetic of your day. The hope is that everything will be as you imagined and within your budget. However if things are more than you expected we can discuss changes or reductions to bring things within your budget.
Step Four | Deposit
Once you are happy with the quote I require a 25% deposit to confirm your booking.
